Julie Moodoyan, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Julie Moodoyan hails from Live Oak, Florida, and grew up traveling the globe as the daughter of an Air Force pilot. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University before graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Dr. Moodoyan has a soft spot for all things feline and especially enjoys canine and feline dentistry—because happy mouths make happy pets.

She and her husband, Michael, are proud parents of four (human) children and three cats who clearly run the household: Pi (17 years young), Beans, and Tiny (both 5). Pi is a true champion—after losing her front leg as a kitten (yes, Dr. Moodoyan performed the surgery herself), she has gone on to thrive despite managing hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney disease, arthritis, and asthma. Pi’s spunk and resilience are a daily reminder of why Dr. Moodoyan loves what she does.

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Moodoyan can be found hiking, curled up with a good book, or giving back to the community as an executive board member of the local nonprofit animal rescue organization, Companion Animal Rescue Endeavor (CARE).
